You won’t have to use a screwdriver, Allen key or hammer when you put together our standing desks. Each part simply slides and clicks together. No screws, tools or glue whatsoever. You’ll have it built by the time the kettle has boiled without a single swear word being uttered.
Supporting the British Economy and the Environment
Secondly, the Helmm standing desk converter is UK-made with sustainable wood. There aren’t any plastics or metals – just beautifully hand-finished plywood made here at home, in good ol’ Blighty. It’s nice to support local when you can – especially with the way things are going.

Thirdly, IKEA don’t actually do standing converters. They only do sit-stand desks, which are the ones that go up and down at the touch of a button or the manual turn of a crank.
