The S-Desk “22” is an adjustable height standing desk converter that attractively helps you get the perfect ergonomic standing position, for computer, craft or detail work. Supplied flat packed, it requires no tools or fastenings and can be assembled in seconds. Designed, made and hand finished by us in the UK from sustainable source European Birch plywood.

Shipping Information
Currently our standing desks and laptop stands are made to order. Production time is two weeks and we will email you when your order is ready for shipping. If we have any in stock we will let you know and send your order out next day.
For free UK mainland delivery we use Royal Mail Parcel Force’s 48hr service for larger items and Royal Mail 2nd Class for smaller items.
If you are within a 25mile radius of our workshop we will personally deliver your desk.
If you would like to collect your items you can do so with prior arrangement, just indicate you would like to do this at checkout.
International shipping rates are calculated at checkout but do not include your local import fees or taxes. You will need to check your liability for this before making your order.

What height person would this be suitable for?
When using a laptop with, the S-Desk’s adjustable shelves will suit anyone from 5’1″ (155cm) to 6’2″ (189cm). If using with a large display such as an iMac it would suit even taller people!
What is the desk made from?
18mm thick, BB grade European Birch faced plywood. This is a natural product made from registered sustainable sources. The final products are finished by hand and wood is left natural, unvarnished and unstained.

“22” – the Master number, a Perrin number and the length in yards of a cricket pitch. It also happens to be the angle in degrees at which each component and facet of this architectural styled standing desk sits at in relation to it’s supporting face…
The S-Desk “22” is a standing desk converter that when placed on any table or desk gives you the perfect standing height work area. The adjustable height shelves can instantly be moved up and down to suit anyone from 5’1″ to 6’2″.
The S-Desk “22” is supplied with two shelves; one for your laptop or display, and one for your keyboard (full size) & mouse. As the shelves can be moved up and down, you can easily achieve the perfect ergonomic working position for a healthy back and neck.
We use PEFC certified birch faced plywood made from sustainable sources to high ecological standards. Each desk is precision CNC cut and then hand finished, test assembled and de-assembled for shipping.
When you receive your desk, assembly takes less than 30 seconds and no tools, bolts or adhesives are required. The S-Desk “22” is a reassuringly solid, self supporting structure that is capable of supporting any laptop all the way up to a 27″ iMac.

Was lucky enough to get a prototype version of one of these standing desks to test out a month ago. I really needed to get out of my seat as I was not moving enough and really feeling sluggish whilst working. Standing and working as changed this all around – I actually feel like my work is ‘working’ rather than me being an observer slumped in my chair. An added bonus is that the bad back that has been niggling me for years is all but gone as my lower back feels stronger and my posture is more upright, just after a few weeks of standing. Top tip – get a soft mat for under your feet, standing and working can be really hard on them!

I’ve had my s-desk for about two weeks now and it’s absolutely perfect. Completely worth the price of admission as, unlike many standing desk converters, you’re able to independently place the top and bottom shelves anywhere along the structure. You’re not stuck looking down at your laptop screen all day long.
I have a 15″ MacBook Pro sitting on the top shelf and the gaps on the side of the desk align perfectly with the USB-C ports so plugging in or using adapters was not a problem. The bottom shelf fits an Apple Magic Keyboard and Mouse great with the keyboard able to be ergonomically center-aligned with my MacBook. Don’t feel cramped at all with plenty of space leftover on the left for my coffee and the center groove is perfect for holding my iPhone and iPad (12.9″).
The desk is engineered exceptionally well and it’s sturdy with no play or wobble (side-to-side or front-to-back) in the desk, the shelves, or my MacBook screen while typing. The individual shelves are able to lock into place in any of the notches so even though I’m shorter, I was able to find the right settings to be comfortable all day. The shelves are easy to move up and down as I alternate throughout the day using a balance board.
The birchwood is so smooth to the touch but is holding up after a lot of abuse with no scratches or marks. And while super random, just like the above review, it does smell amazing.
